LED Innovation

  • Optical evaluation and design in-house

Circuit Board Design

  • Create custom circuit board designs for our lighting applications
    • Ability to make design changes as needed
  • Experience with different types of board materials (flexible, metal clad epoxy boards)

Manufacturing Engineering

  • Evaluate latest production processes available for making parts, with commitment to continuous analysis and improvement efforts after the product is released to production
  • Procure tooling and equipment, such as injection molds, dies, and assembly fixtures
  • Review part designs for manufacturability

  • Design and procure special assembly tools and fixtures

Quality Engineering

  • Conduct 100% final inspection testing to assure proper light intensity and color temperature
  • Perform First Article Inspections

  • Continuous improvement actions taken, based on test results

Software Engineering

  • Handle embedded software development relating to DO-178 non-essential
    • All digital cabin management, IFE, Flight Attendant Panel, power supplies, dimming modules
  • Collaboration of shared engineering resources with Custom Control Concepts (CCC) on CMS/IFE programs

    • Software engineers with over ten years each of software development experience in the aerospace industry; ten software and hardware engineers in-house

DO-160 Testing

  • Temperature and humidity testing done in-house
  • EMI / RFI Expertise
  • Excellent partner relations with several established local testing labs

  • All products designed are qualified to appropriate DO-160 categories
